There is less than a 3% chance for children who have aged out of foster care to earn a college degree at any point in their life. Despite all of the challenges, 70% of foster kids regularly say that they would like to attend college one day. Rather A teen wants to go to a university, community college or trade school we will help get them there. Our Services Include:

Only 1 out of every 2 foster kids who age out of the system will have some form of gainful employment by the age of 24. We help foster youth prepare for the workforce whether they are still in high school or just graduated.

Life Development Skills
Statistics show that 7 out of 10 girls who age out of the foster care system will become pregnant before the age of 21. Nearly 60% of young men who age out of the foster care system and are legally emancipated have been convicted of a crime.
We enable youth to transition into young adults to achieve their highest potential as law-abiding citizens through group sessions and one on one mentoring. Life skills include but are not limited to the following:

Understanding Credit & maintaining a good credit score
Safe sex practices
Health and Hygiene
Recognizing and avoiding domestic abuse
Maintaining positive and healthy relationships.
Drug & Alcohol abuse
Staying out of trouble
Maintaining a positive outlook

Housing & Transportation Assistance
After reaching the age of 18, 20% of the children who were in foster care will become instantly homeless. We provide assistance to ensure that it does not happen.
Assistance finding homes or apartments
Assistance finding roommates
Assistance applying for renters insurance
Assistance furnishing home
Assistance setting up utilities
If still in high school assist in arranging/ maintaining current living arrangements until graduation.
Help to find reliable transportation
Help with leasing/financing or buying a car process
Assistance with finding car insurance
